Zinc is a processed food containing zinc and copper, made in Japan by ogaland. Each 230 mg tablet provides zinc 12 mg (from zinc gluconate) and copper 0.6 mg (from copper gluconate). It is labelled as a Food with Nutrient Function Claims for zinc and copper; one pack holds 30 tablets, about a one-month supply.

Purpose

Ingredients

Ingredients: reduced maltose syrup (made in Japan), dextrin / zinc gluconate, crystalline cellulose, copper gluconate, calcium stearate.
Tablets. Content: 230 mg × 30 tablets (about a one-month supply).
Per tablet (daily amount): zinc gluconate 93.84 mg (12 mg as zinc), copper gluconate 4.301 mg (0.6 mg as copper).

How to use

As a guide, take 1 tablet a day. Taking 2 or more a day is not permitted under the rules for Foods with Nutrient Function Claims; keep to the daily guide amount.

Cautions

Taking a large amount will not cure disease or further improve health.
Too much zinc may hinder the absorption of copper; take care not to take too much. Keep to the daily guide amount.
Infants and children should not take this product.
Unlike Foods for Specified Health Uses, it has not been individually reviewed by Japan's Consumer Affairs Agency.
If you are taking medicine or attending a clinic, or if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult a doctor before taking it.
The colour may differ slightly between production batches because of the raw materials.
After opening, close the zip firmly.
Keep to a balanced diet based on staple foods, main dishes and side dishes.
