Description

This medicine improves neuropathy and thus does pain, numbness and paralysis. It also improves anemia due to vitamin B12 deficiency.

It is usually used to treat peripheral neuropathy and megaloblastic anemia due to vitamine B12 deficiency.

Dosing schedule/Directions

Your dosing schedule must be prescribed by your doctor or a healthcare professional.

In general, inject this medicine intramuscularly or intravenously once a day, three times a week.

For treatment of pain, numbness and paralysis, injection period should be decided depending on its therapeutic effect.

For treatment of anemia due to vitamine B12 deficiency, inject this medicine for a period of approximately two months, then, inject once every 1 to 3 months, depending on its therapeutic effect.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include rash. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
