Indications

Relief of lower back pain, shoulder pain associated with stiff shoulders, joint pain, muscle pain, tendovaginitis (hand/wrist pain), elbow pain (such as tennis elbow), bruises and sprains.

Ingredients & form

Colourless to pale yellow, transparent jelly-like gel for external use. 100 g contains:
- Loxoprofen sodium hydrate 1.13 g (1 g as anhydrate)
Additives: ethanol, 1,3-butylene glycol, hypromellose, carboxyvinyl polymer, triethanolamine.

Dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 3–4 times a day.
Precautions related to dosage:
- Strictly follow the directions.
- Do not cover the treated area with plastic wrap or anything else that does not breathe.
- This product treats only symptoms such as pain and swelling, not their underlying cause; use it only while symptoms are present.
- Do not use more than 8 cm (about 2 g) per application or more than 50 g per week.
- Keep away from the eyes. If it gets into the eyes, rinse at once with water or lukewarm water; if symptoms are severe, see an eye doctor.
- For external use only.
- Wash your hands after use.
A doctor's instructions prevail.

Warnings

Do not use:
1. Do not use this product if you:
- have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients;
- have ever had asthma after using this product, other antipyretic analgesics, cold medicines or topical anti-inflammatory analgesics;
- are a child under 15 years of age.
2. Do not apply to: the area around the eyes or mucous membranes; sensitive skin (face, armpits, etc.); eczema, skin rash or wounds; athlete's foot, ringworm or festering areas.
3. While using this product, do not use other topical anti-inflammatory analgesics.
4. Do not use continuously for 2 weeks or longer (it relieves pain only temporarily; if pain continues, stop and see a doctor).
Consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller before use if you:
- are under a doctor's care;
- have ever had an allergic reaction to any medicine;
- are pregnant or may be pregnant;
- are elderly;
- have been diagnosed with bronchial asthma.
Stop use at once and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller if after use:
- skin: rash/redness, itching, swelling, stinging, contact dermatitis, blisters, pigmentation;
- digestive: stomach discomfort, pain in the pit of the stomach;
- other: swelling (oedema).
Rarely shock (anaphylaxis) may occur — itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, itchy throat, difficulty breathing, palpitations or clouded consciousness soon after use: see a doctor immediately.
If diarrhoea or loose stools continue or worsen, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller.
If symptoms do not improve after 5–6 days of use (another disease may be the cause), stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller.

Storage

Store tightly closed in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not transfer to another container (this may cause misuse or change the quality).
Keep away from fire.
The gel can dissolve synthetic fibres, plastics and painted surfaces — keep it off floors, furniture, glasses, etc.
Do not use after the expiry date shown; once opened, use as soon as possible.
