Indications

Diarrhoea, diarrhoea due to indigestion, food poisoning, vomiting with diarrhoea, diarrhoea caused by drinking water, loose bowels, soft stools

Ingredients & form

Pills (moist pills with a characteristic odour).
Active ingredients per 9 pills (adult daily dose):
Wood creosote (JP) 275 mg - antidiarrhoeal action
Scopolia extract (JP) 19.8 mg - antacid action
Cinnamon bark powder (JP) 49.5 mg - stomachic action
Phellodendron bark powder (JP) 99 mg - stomachic action
Glycyrrhiza (licorice) powder (JP) 165 mg - analgesic and antispasmodic action
Citrus unshiu peel (chinpi) powder 105 mg - stomachic action
Additives: sodium bicarbonate, glycerin, wheat starch.

Dosage

Take the following dose 3 times a day after meals with hot water or water.
Adults (15 years and older): 3 pills per dose
Children 8 to under 15 years: 2 pills per dose
Children 5 to under 8 years: 1 pill per dose
Children under 5 years: do not take.
Notes on dosage and administration:
(1) Strictly follow the directions and dosage.
(2) When giving to children aged 5 years and older, do so under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.

Warnings

Do not:
1. While taking this product, do not take the following medicines: gastrointestinal analgesic/antispasmodic medicines, other gastrointestinal medicines containing scopolia extract, motion sickness medicines.
2. Do not drive or operate machinery after taking (blurred vision, abnormal glare and similar symptoms may occur).
3. Breastfeeding women should not take this product, or should avoid breastfeeding if taking it (it passes into breast milk and may cause a rapid pulse in the infant).
Consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller:
1. Before use, if you:
- are receiving treatment from a doctor;
- have diarrhoea with fever, bloody stools or persistent mucous stools;
- are pregnant or may be pregnant;
- are elderly;
- have ever had an allergic reaction to medicines or other substances;
- have difficulty urinating;
- have been diagnosed with heart disease or glaucoma.
2. Stop taking immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller, taking this leaflet with you, if the following symptoms appear after use, as they may be side effects:
- Skin: rash, redness, itching
- Digestive system: loss of appetite, stomach discomfort
- Nervous system: headache
- Urinary system: difficulty urinating
- Other: facial flushing, abnormal glare
3. Stop taking and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller, taking this leaflet with you, if the following symptoms continue or worsen: dry mouth, constipation, diarrhoea, blurred vision.
4. If symptoms do not improve after 5-6 days of use, stop taking and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller, taking this leaflet with you.
Other precautions:
Breast milk production may decrease.

Storage

Store tightly closed in a cool place with low humidity, away from direct sunlight. In places with large temperature changes, water droplets may form on the inside of the container; this does not affect use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not transfer to another container (this may cause misuse or a change in quality).
Do not take the product after the expiry date.
