Description

This medicine exhibits antibacterial action by targeting the cell membranes and cell walls of bacteria.

It is commonly used to treat skin infections in cases such as wounds, burns, surgical wounds, and skin ulcers, including bedsores.

Dosing schedule/Directions

Your dosing schedule must be prescribed by your doctor or healthcare professional.

In general, apply a 2 to 3 mm thick layer of the cream directly to the affected area once a day. Alternatively, apply the cream to a piece of gauze and cover the area with bandages. From the second day onwards, clean the area with gauze or wash it with lukewarm water before the next application. Strictly follow the instructions provided.

Do not apply this medicine to your eyes as it is not intended for ophthalmic use.

If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.

If you accidentally use more than the prescribed amount, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not stop using this medicine unless instructed by your doctor.

Warnings

Before Using This Medicine, Be Sure to Tell Your Doctor and Pharmacist:

- If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itching, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.

- If the patient is a neonate or low birth weight baby.

- If you have a mild thermal burn.

- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

- If you are taking any other medicinal products (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Be cautious with over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements, as well as other prescription medicines).

Possible Adverse Reactions to This Medicine:

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include:

- Pain

- Rash

- Redness

- Contact dermatitis

- Photosensitivity

- Pyogenic infection caused by resistant or insensitive bacteria

- Anemia

If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

The following symptoms are rarely seen as initial signs of more severe adverse reactions. If any of these occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately:

- Fever, sore throat, bleeding from the nose or gums [pancytopenia]

- Skin redness with pain, hot feeling of the skin [skin necrosis]

- Fever, eczema, nausea [interstitial nephritis]

Storing Conditions

Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from light, heat, and moisture. Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
