A Japanese over-the-counter gastrointestinal preparation in tablet form. It combines digestive enzymes and antacid ingredients with lactic acid bacteria. Made by Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare and supplied in a pack of 180 tablets.

Indications

Heavy stomach, overeating, overdrinking, chest discomfort, loss of appetite; heartburn, stomach ache, gastric hyperacidity, heavy feeling in the stomach, stomach discomfort, belching; indigestion, promoting digestion, weak stomach, feeling of fullness in the stomach/abdomen; nausea (queasiness, nausea from hangover or overdrinking, sickness), vomiting; regulating the bowels (bowel movements), loose stools, constipation.

Ingredients & form

Pale greyish-brown to pale brown uncoated tablets with a characteristic odour. 9 tablets contain:
- Takadiastase N1 150 mg (digestive enzyme)
- Lipase AP12 60 mg (fat-digesting enzyme)
- Spore-forming lactic acid bacteria (Lacbon powder) 60 mg
- Magnesium aluminosilicate 735 mg
- Synthetic hydrotalcite 600 mg
- Precipitated calcium carbonate 420 mg
- Phellodendron bark powder 105 mg
- Cinnamon bark powder 225 mg
- Ginger powder 75 mg
- Clove powder 30 mg
- Fennel powder 60 mg
- l-Menthol 9 mg
- Aldioxa 60 mg
- Glycyrrhiza (licorice) powder 150 mg
Additives: carmellose, Japanese pepper (sansho), magnesium stearate.

Dosage

Take 3 times a day after meals with water or hot water.
Adults (15 years and older): 3 tablets per dose.
Children 11–14 years: 2 tablets per dose.
Under 11 years: do not use.
Precautions related to dosage:
(1) Strictly follow the directions.
(2) Children aged 11 and over should take it only under the supervision of a guardian.
A doctor's instructions prevail.

Warnings

Do not use:
1. Do not take this product if you are receiving dialysis.
2. Do not take it continuously for a long time.

If constipation or diarrhoea continue or worsen, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller, bringing this leaflet.
If symptoms do not improve after about 2 weeks, stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist or registered seller, bringing this leaflet.

Storage

(1) Store tightly closed in a cool place with little humidity, away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of the reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container (this may cause misuse or change the quality).
(4) Do not handle with wet hands: moisture partly dissolves the tablet surface and can cause discolouration or uneven colour; do not put wet tablets back into the bottle, as they affect the other tablets.
(5) The packing material in the bottle protects the tablets during transport; discard it after opening.
(6) Do not use after the expiry date shown. Once the bottle is opened, use within 12 months.
(7) Write the date the bottle was opened in the «date opened» box on the carton.
