Description

This medicine widens the blood vessels around the wound to improve blood flow.

It is usually used to treat bedsore (decubitus) and gouged wound of skin (ulcer).

Ingredients and dosage form

white to faintly yellowish white ointment

Dosing schedule/Directions

Your dosing schedule must be prescribed by your doctor or a healthcare professional.

In general, apply an appropriate amount of this ointment depending on your symptoms or the size of the affected area. Clean the affected area. Afterwards, spread this ointment on gauze and apply once or twice a day. Or apply directly to the affected area. Strictly follow the instructions.

Do not apply this medicine to your eyes.

If you miss a dose, apply the missed dose when you remember. You should not apply two doses at one time.

If you accidentally applied more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not stop applying this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Warnings

Before using this medicine be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist:

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines or foods.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Precautions while taking this medicine

Bleeding may occur from the affected area. Pay close attention when you replace the gauze

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include pain, redness of skin, itching and irritation (contact dermatitis). If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

Storing Conditions
